26.2 Miles to Go!

The countdown has begun! Before you know it, runners will fill the streets to compete in the Fargo Marathon. Thousands of runners are registering for the big race which begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 9 at Fargodome. The course will take runners through historic downtown, beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods, golf course communities and along the Red River. If running 26.2 miles isn't for you, check out the many different races you can participate in. They include the half marathon, group marathon relay, 5K family fun run/walk and the world's largest youth run. There is something for everybody!

The Marathon will be here soon and people are getting in shape and keeping fit. Even those who aren't participating in the events are feeling the marathon spirit and getting on track with a healthy fitness routine. The Fargo Marathon has truly spurred activity in the region, helping to create healthy communities and healthy living.
